Your target function is at the core of the Management Trainee Program

Here, you’ll get to know the KION Group from a range of perspectives, take on responsibility right from the start, benefit from personalised mentoring and gain international experience over a period of five months within a strong network. Your sections

Start

The program starts every year on October 1st with a joint Welcome Day.

Base Camp Part 1

Focus on your development

You will get to know us and the other trainees in a one-week base camp. There, you will be working together to complete various training modules.
Duration: 5 days

Section 1

Starting in your home base

During the first five months, you will learn all about your specialist function in detail.
Duration: 5 months

Section 2

Your cross-functional section

In the next step, you will become familiar with the most important interfaces within your area and take on interdisciplinary tasks.
Duration: 4 months

Base Camp Part 2

Focus on your development

During the 5-day base camp, you will have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge of individual subjects in a number of trainings together with your fellow trainees.
Duration: 5 days

Section 3

Your international section

The international orientation of the program is completed by a 5-month assignment at one of our international locations.
Duration: 5 months

Section 4

Return to your home base

During the program’s final four months, you will have the opportunity to put the many new skills and tasks you have learned to good use in your target function.
Duration: 4 months

Finish

After 18 months of the trainee program you are ready to start successfully in your target function.

Step 1

Submit your application documents and learn about the program through the link we provide.

Step 2

You will receive a link to a landing page for the trainee program. Learn about the KION Group, read about the experiences of previous trainees, and get all the details about the application process. At the end, we ask you to complete an approximately 30-minute online test to assess your cognitive abilities.

Step 3

We invite you to a personal video interview so we can get to know you better.

Step 4

Is there more you want to share about yourself? We look forward to your personal message in the video recordings.

Step 5

Impress us at the assessment center with your personality and additional skills.

Step 6

After successfully completing the assessment center, you will receive an offer.
